Brainstorm of Content

Archive footage
-Short clip of black and white film, then a short clip of a colour film showing the difference.
-Colourful music video showing how influential colour can be when considering music and advertising an artist.
-Colourful adverts
-Football games showing the representation of colour, how it can cause conflict with relevance to different teams.
-Michael Jackson- a music video included, also footage of him being black and then him being white. Cut away shots of newspaper clippings of when this happened could also be included.


Interviews

-vox pops would be included asking quick questions about colour.
-Emerald (girl with bright coloured hair influenced by many colours). This would be asking her why she is so influenced by colour and why she feels the need to express herself by colour.
-Art teacher interview, showing how colour can be used in many different creative ways and how important it is.
- Art advisor from 'Castle Galleries' talking about if coloured paintings sell more or less than the others, also about the influences of the artists.
-somebody working at a chain e.g asda being associated with the colour green and the representation of different supermarkets by the use of colour
-somebody working at McDonalds and how they feel about it going 'green', therefore changing the stereotype of McDonalds being red and yellow to green and yellow.
- Primary school teacher, how the teaching of colour is introduced at such a young age.
- Colour therapist- how colour can be used to heal people and make them happy. This also connecting to the theme of auras, linking to a possible interview with a aura specialist.

-Colourful clothes on people walking down the street with relevant narration in the background.
-shots of representation of colour in sport
-different paint colours in a shopping aisle
-possible filming of bright coloured clothes in a clothes shop
Voice over would not be too formal, keep the audience interested.


Music - songs relevant to colours, popular ones to entertain the audience but match the theme of colours. A colour could also just be in the title of the song which would attract the audience.
possible suggestions- 5 colours in her hair- Mcfly, Grace Kelly- Mika, Brown eyed girl- Van Morrison, Pretty green eyes- Ultrabeat, Somewhere over the rainbow- Eva Cassidy, I'm Blue- Eiffel 65 and also colourful music videos like lilly allens the fear.
