Questionare And Graph Results

From the results above it clearly show that more male's were interviewed than females however there isnt a large difference this shows different opinions from males and females and results will be varied.
The results clearly show that the majority of people interviewed were between the ages 16-30 however a third of people were different ages making it versatile.

The chart shows the different colours people favoured it is clear that red and blue came out on top however lots of colours werent far behind. This is showing how age and gender doesnt matter when having an opinion on colour.

The chart is showing different reasons for colours being favoured the words chosen are showing why it attracts the person to this colour the graph shows that people dont know why it is there faveourite colour they just like it also people have said that they like the colour becuase it is bright this shows that bright colours are favoured aswell.

The chart shows that there is a clear difference of opinion when it came to people showing there least faveurite colour. The majority of people said that they didnt have a least faveourite colour demonstrating how important colour is. The reason of a colour being someones least faveourite came out becuase it is boring this reinforces graph four becusae the main reason people liked the colour was becuase it was bright. Furthermore the second biggest result came in for 'dont know' this could of possibly conicide with the fact people didnt have a least faveorite colour as the interviwee wouldnt of been applicable for this question. The chart is showing peoples opinion on wether colour cna represent a person for example someones personalities who is bright and happy could compared to the colour yellow. The graph shows clearly people think that a colour can represent a person.

The chart shows clearly that the majority of people cant remember the first time they watched a colour TV. This probably due to the fact that colour TV was already announced as most of out interviwees were between the ages of 16-30.

this chart is showing the high influence from colour when it colours to a paticular group of people i.e football teams. Altough there are a contrasting number of people who say it doesnt matter about the representation of colour within a group of people this suggests it matters more to some people than others.

This question was asked as a reinforment to the previous question of wether colour could reprsent a paticular group of people. This was shown through football teams as football hooliganism is affected by the colour of shirt worn.
In reference to the prior questions this was to see the importance of colours when it came to considering a rival team . It is clear that two thirds of people would wear the colours of a rival team as it is just seen as a colour and doesnt always represent a team. However a third people strongly believe that a colour belonging to a team is very important.

From looking at the results for this graph it is obvious that colourful advertisements are more appealing and attract people to buy the product. This supports the idea of colour being influencial and important when it comes to advertising. This question shows that colourful art work and photography is more appealing to most people rather than art and photography with no colour. However lots of people said they appreiciated black and white work this shows the diverity in opinion when it comes to art and photography.

this chart shows the vast majority of people dont support the idea of colour not being sterotypical this question was mainly surronding gender this shows that it is no longer the case of pink for girls and blue for boys.

Colour can sometimes make people think of emotions for example red for anger , yellow for happiness and blue for sadness. In some way the graph proves this theory however it is also shown that people dont always think that as peoples opinion vary.

This graph is shwoing show people can be influenced by colour to buy something for instance they are not always influnced by colour or art this contradicts graph 12 as people said they were more inclined to buy something if the advertisment was bright.

The graph clearly shows that the majority arent put off food by a colour however many people answered red this was becuase it reminded them of blood and food poisning.

This graphs shows the variety of colours worn by people on a day to day basis and how many people dont have a faveourite colour of clothes. However black came out as the most faveorable colour to wear.

This graph demonstrates the varied tv channels this is down to satelite television and the digital swtichover. E4 is clearly the most popular with our audience as we have the same audience of students. The channel coming closely after E4 is ITV1 this is becuase it is a terresitial channel and the majority of succesful shows are prime time on ITV1.

This graph shows that the majority of people watch television at night time the programs shown at this time are aimed at students which supports the age range of people we interviewed. This research shows that people watch televiosion at night which are suited to there age. This could be down to our age range being in college or school so they watch television when they get home and late at night.
