Codes and Conventions I should consider when im filming my documentary;
- Between headshots and interviews cutaway shots should be used to keep the audience gripped also to reinforce what is being said.
- Interviwees most of the time dont look straight into the camera this is so space is filled by the interviwee talking to it.
- Only one person interviewed at a time
- You never hear the question the interviwee was asked they are removed in editing so the cuts flow smoother.
-Graphics are used at the bottom of the screen to introduce an interviwee this is so the audience knows who the person is and why they are being interviwed this graphic will also be either to the left or right depending on the person making the documentary.
-Different peoples answers to the questions are cut and edited together which is easy to follow the narrative and show variation throughout
