Type of documentary;
This was a varied documentary for diverse reasons. The documentary included Archive footage of previous film trailers and marketing adverts. It incorporated interviews from officials showing the importance, Lastly it included a voice over and the occasional music bed to add to impact.
Theemes;
The Themes in this documentary were the marketing of films and how important is it to have a target audience for your film. Also the formation of products to add to the advertising, and how they use different companies to support it, for example Mcdonalds or Burger King.
Narrative Structure;
At the start it was an upbeat beginning and went straight in with the initial question with no hesitation. In the middle, it started showing the importance of marketing evidences, with different budgets. In the end it shows the completed product and how much it was worth all the work with the target audience, it was ultimately left open in your opinion.
Camera Work;
During the interviews there were close ups showing the importance of the interviewees. At the premier of 'Mouse Hunt' high angle shots were used to show the importance of the celebrities that attended it, and the same for the zooms. Also static cameras were used in the interviews, not moving at all with deep focus and shallow focus. finally there was close ups and panning shots of the Disney shop, and also close up of the money and credits cards while people purchased cinema tickets.
Mise en scene;
During the interviews the audience could see relevant posters to the subject in the background , for example the interview about Babe it shown posters of pigs to make it relevant. It shown billboards in the box office of a cinema and also it was set in London making us know it was important as it is known to be famous for film making.
Sound ;
The interview sounds were diegetic there was also a music bed throughout the documentary of lively music making it exciting and up-beat. During the doc it appeared that sound was under used and no sound effects were used on music could be heard.
Editing ;
There were lots of quick shots and many cutaways to create meaning both were used during interviews. An example of this is when the interviewee wa talking about mcdonalds a cutaway went to an image of burger at first this was confusing but both of the companys are similar so therefore the point is put across.
Archive material;
The archive material in this doc was trailers from different films and teaser trailers which are little clips of the move just to make the audience want to see more which another marketing technique is also.

Graphics;
In this doc i thought the graphics were over used in this documentary when instead they could have used cutaways or a different type of footage to make it more exciting. finally when somebody was being interviewed, they had simple white writing underneath them to show who they were, put it was simple enough not to detect from the subject its self.
